Forwarding Assistant is a client application that fully automates the forwarding of Cisco telephones and Jabber. It monitors the status (e.g. active or standby) of the user’s computer, and multiple forwarding scenarios can be configured. Examples:
- At the office, route incoming calls based on who is available at his desk
- Forward business calls to people’s mobile phone when they work at home (e.g. COVID-19)
- Follow-me: if someone’s computer is inactive (standby/switched-off), forward Jabber calls automatically to his mobile phone
