A financial service provider, offering financial services and advice to business customers and consumers, was looking for a solution to simplify the login procedures for Cisco VoIP telephones. The company used the Extension Mobility feature to enable its staff to work at different desks in the office. But the drawback of that function is that someone has to log into the telephone every time he or she picks a new desk.
Using the RSconnect Single Sign-On (SSO) software, this is no longer a problem. When the ALM client is installed on a laptop or PC, logging into a telephone isn’t required anymore. Each time the user logs into his laptop or PC, he automatically logs into the desktop VoIP telephone as well.
